Anxiety

Anxiety

Mid night
A jungle trail
Gentle light, just enough
From
Moon above,
Heart praising
Cool…
Beautiful….

From nowhere a thick cloud drifts in
Covering moon,
Vulgar darkness is consuming.

Will I last
Till
Clouds pass??

The last line grips my heart and won't let go... makes me want to reach into the darkness...

Great usage of the three words. Very descriptive in such few words too.

Yes, you will! A lovely description of the night and the delight the moon can give one. The metaphor of a dark cloud covering up that light is so menacing! You captured the feeling well.
