Old Notebook

Old   Notebook

Notes on matters
That consumed my existence,
So important then
…..Now irrelevant.

Notebook dumped.

Left me wondering
What remains important forever?

Very nice! Thought provoking in a way. When I started blogging I dug out a lot of old notebooks to find older pieces... I am glad I kept them, even though what was in there is no longer as important...

True... I used to think they were so important. Time passes.. as all things do, they fade away.

That does pose a question to ponder upon, what is important forever?

Interesting. I guess the importance of the writing is to get the thoughts out of your head, so they're not important anymore.

I can not tell you how many notebooks I have filled over the years...a form of cleaning for the mind.

I have a stack of those unimportant notebooks. Why can't I throw them away? Most entries are so innane, yet, I can't toss them. Love. Love is what is important. Most importantly it shouldn't only show up in those notebooks.

It is the memories you make in your children's minds that remain forever and are passed down. Love this!
