A reason to live...

A reason to live...

Preponderance of rain drops
On windowpane,
It’s a rainy season again.
Child in me runs out…..

Let drops from heaven drench me
And
Seep deep into my soul,

Bringing to me
Nectar
This life offers…..

It is so easy to see reason
To live
Years after years……

Anxiety

Anxiety

Mid night
A jungle trail
Gentle light, just enough
From
Moon above,
Heart praising
Cool…
Beautiful….

From nowhere a thick cloud drifts in
Covering moon,
Vulgar darkness is consuming.

Will I last
Till
Clouds pass??

Candid (OSI prompt : Overt)

Candid

Candid

I wear costumes
Creams, fragrances
Ornaments…….
For I don’t adore
True
Look, feel & odor of
My body.

Overt candid revelation
Of self
Is dreaded
So I Wear
Lies
Lies
Lies. &
Lies.

A voice
in space within me arise :
“This body too is a lie.
I am wearing it
For a play.”

Deastination

Destination   (OSI Prompt : Roads)

Roads are never ending
Take round and round,
Lives pass travelling
Yet not reach.
Destination eludes.

Till one finds a road
That lead to lots of love,
To Him.

Acceptance

Acceptance

You switched on lights
To see me

You see me
And
My shadow

Disappointed,
In efforts to see me without shadow
You switch lights off.

Now you can’t see me,
Nor can I see you.

Please accept me with my shadow
My darker side ……

A color of evening....

A color of evening…..

It is now Evening,

Work is over…

One by one
Quietly
They leave

Sun is setting….
Returning birds
Scattered clouds
Shades of ochre….
Relaxed
unbound

Beautiful.

Yet
Lonely.

Time to go….
Home.

New World Order

New  World  Order
(One single Impression Prompt : Dawn)

My way of living,
Your way of living,
My faith, your faith…
Dogma,
Borders in mind….. On land,
Will protect it …At any cost,
Armies,
Weapons of mass destruction…

Suffocating dark long night.
Scary, limiting....
Madness…..

Dawn……

New world….
Knows no boundaries
No great wall can stop it.

One people, one world, one law….
Law of love.
Treasured within each living
That sets soul free…..
 World of
Cyberspace.

It is just the beginning.

Out Casted

Out casted
(One single Impression - Prompt : Oubliette)

They all left
Never to look back,
Leaving him alone..

Out casted.

He
Restless.. ..lonely….cursing…..suffering….
Confined to himself,
In oubliette.
Nights darker & longer,
& tears heavier.

Gradually….
Reality sinks in.
He is calmer….

Silent…..

Having passed through those dark nights
now
He rejoices in twilight of   space  within.

He no more curses
He has empathy for them….

For all.

He is no more alone.

Just different pots....

Just different pots.....

My hopes
My dreams, my vision,

My belief, my confidence, my trust,
My esteem,
My sensibility, my compassion,
My pains, my sorrow,
My vulnerability……..
Make my space within.

You are a frequent visitor here.
So am I,
To the space you treasure within.

We share same kind of world,
Same kind of fire warms us,
Same drinks quench our thirst.

Aren’t we
Water of same stream
In different pots?

Crossing Limits.

CROSSING LIMITS

Chasing thrill & excitement,
Crossing all safe limits,
Ignoring your advice,
Putting aside commonsense.

Now in the middle of night
In our car, badly smashed,
On a roadside, in pool of blood,
I wish
I was more careful on that turn.

It could have saved
Two innocent lives
And
Mine.

Wisdom
Now dawns
In last few moments…..

Pleasure of life is not in seeking
Thrill & excitement
Foolishly crossing limits,
It is in consciously working towards
Expanding limits.

I am sorry DAD.
